Shoppers from all over the East of Christchurch turned up in droves on Thursday 17th April and Friday 18th April to check out Energise 09. Energise had something of interest for all members of the family. Shoppers learnt all about healthy livestyles from organisations such as The Cancer Society, Feeding Our Futures, Sports Canterbury, National Heart Foundation, Asthma Society, Diabetes Centre, Breastfeeding Advocacy and Linwood Link.

Eastgate has heaps on to keep the kids (and parents!) entertained these school holidays. Be here on the 16th & 17th of April for Energise 09. The count down is on for LYFE ‘09 the annual, free Linwood Youth Festival Experience to be held on Saturday 7 March from 2 pm – 7 pm at Linwood Park. LYFE is set to be a block buster with 2 stages of over 20 performances from local bands, dance, beat boxing and hip hop, including Christchurch’s hottest band Bang! Bang! Eche! plus high energy break dancers Common Ground!
